At the Institute for Domestic and International Affairs (which powers ModelUN.com), we make it a major part of our mission to extend scholarships and grants for students of all socioeconomic backgrounds to attend our conferences.
The cost of attending a model UN or model Congress conference can unfortunately sometimes prevent students from attaining the rich educational experience these conferences offer.
In addition to conference fees, incidentals and travel expenses can make the cost prohibitive for many schools and students.
Fortunately, IDIA’s status as a 501c3 non-profit organization enables us to offer scholarships, grants, and reduced fees for many of our programs. Currently IDIA offers both need-based scholarships distributed on a case-by-case basis, as well as standing scholarships for which students can apply.
Check back here often to see when new standing scholarships are added. In the meantime, please contact IDIA’s program director at [email protected] to inquire about case-by-case scholarships.
